Privacy

What CardMochi collects, and why:

• Visits: Google Analytics counts page views (anonymous usage statistics) so we can see which pages are useful.
• Your collection: saved on your device. If you sign in with Google (optional), it is also saved to your account so it works on every device; only you can read it.
• Card scanner: the photo you scan is sent to Google's Gemini to recognise the card. During the beta we also keep a small copy of scan photos (up to 640 px, no account or name attached) together with the card we found, and any correction you make, to improve the scanner. Only the CardMochi team can see them. Don't scan anything you don't want stored.
• Scan logs: what the scanner read and matched (text only), to fix recognition mistakes.
• No advertising trackers, and we don't sell data.
• Hosted on Vercel; sign-in and storage by Google Firebase.
