About CardMochi

CardMochi is a free collection tracker and price guide for Japanese Pokémon and One Piece cards. It shows what Japanese cards are worth in yen, from the shops in Japan that sell them and from real sales, for collectors anywhere in the world.

What it is

  • A price guide for Japanese cards: every version (regular, parallels, alt arts, SP, Japanese and English prints) with its own price in yen, sealed boxes and packs, set pages with chase cards and pack odds.
  • A free collection tracker: no card limit, no subscription, no ads. What you get
  • Guides for collecting in Japan: box lotteries, buying at list price, flea markets, rarities, condition, Japanese for collectors.

Where the prices come from

  • Japanese shops: Card Rush, yuyu-tei and Suruga-ya. The price shown is the cheapest copy in stock, checked about weekly; a sold-out item shows its last listed price, marked ≈.
  • Real sales: recent Yahoo! Auctions sales in Japan, shown next to the shop price when the version match is certain.
  • Sealed: Card Rush and SNKRDUNK; a single pack nobody sells is priced from today's box price.
  • English Pokémon cards and cards with no Japanese shop price yet show an overseas reference (Cardmarket, TCGplayer), labelled as such.
  • Every price on a card says where it comes from (Why this price?), and automatic checks stop a price update from going live when a known mistake comes back. How we price

Who runs it

  • Built in Tokyo, Japan, by collectors of Japanese cards, since March 2026 (first as PokePiece; CardMochi since September 2026).
  • Independent: not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, Bandai or any shop we list. No shop pays to be listed.
  • Funded by its makers and by donations. Support CardMochi
  • Your data: a collection without an account stays in your browser; with an account it's stored privately for you. Privacy & legal
  • Wrong price or picture? Every card has a Report button, and we read every report.

How we write

  • Our Blog covers what's happening in the Japanese market: new sets, lotteries and prices.
  • Every number is sourced and dated: Japanese shop asking prices and Yahoo! Auctions sales from our own data, or a linked primary source (official product pages, the shops). Estimates are labelled as estimates.
  • Researched with AI tools, checked and edited by people. Each post is fact-checked against its sources before it's published, and corrected when the market moves.
  • No paid posts, no affiliate links. Rumours and forum posts are something we check, never something we report as fact.
